Ingredients:
2 c Lentils
Pepper, black
Salt
1 T Butter, sweet
Methods:
Sort and rinse lentils in water.Cover lentils with 6 cups of water.Boil 30 minutes.When soft, strain through colander, working through with a wooden spoon. Work puree in hands until it is very soft.Add a little cold water and season. Return the mixture to heat and boil until thickened.Bring butter to a boil in separate saucepan pour into lentil mixture.
