Lebanese Yukhnee (Lamb Stew) Recipe


2 lb Lamb – cubed
1/2 c Butter
Pepper, black
2 ea Onions – chopped
1/2 c Tomato puree
1 ea Garlic clove
3 lg Potatoes – cubed


Melt butter in saucepan saute meat until brown.Remove meat,set aside.Add onions and garlic to pan brown.Add salt and pepper to taste and tomato puree cook together for a few
minutes.Return meat to skillet.Add enough water to cover and cook over medium heat about 1 hour,or until meat is almost done.Add potatoes boil until potatoes are cooked.
