Lebanese Shouraba Il Homos (Chick-Pea Soup) Recipe


1 lb Chick-peas
2 lg Onions – chopped
1/2 t Salt
1/2 c Olive oil
Pepper, black


Soak peas overnight in lukewarm water with salt.The following day,rinse well and rub peas between fingers to remove skins.Rinse again,cover with water and simmer until tender.Add olive oil,chopped onions,salt and pepper to taste cook until done,about 30 minutes.
