Lebanese Meatball Soup Recipe

Ingredients

* 1 Small Onion — grated
* Salt And Pepper — to taste
* 1/4 Teaspoon Allspice
* 1 Pound Ground Beef
* 1/4 Cup Parsley — finely chopped
* 1/4 Cup Butter
* 9 Cups Water
* 1 Stick Cinnamon
* 1/2 Cup Rice — washed & drained
* Salt — to taste
* Cinnamon

Directions

Place onion,salt,pepper,allspice,meat and parsley.Mix thoroughly and form into walnut sized balls.Brown meatballs in butter.Add half cup of water to meatballs and scrape.Add cinnamon stick and remaining water.Boil for 10 minutes.Add rice and salt to taste.Simmer for 30 minutes. serve with a dash of cinnamon atop.
