Lebanese Jaj Ma’a Limoon Wa Zahter (Marinated Broiled Chicken) Recipe

2 ea Chicken, 2 pound broiler
1 t Garlic powder
3/4 c Vegetable oil
3/4 c Lemon juice
Pepper, black
2 T Thyme


Split broilers down the back. Combine oil, lemon juice, thyme, garlic powder, salt and pepper to make a marinade. Pour on chickens and marinate 1-2 hours. Arrange chickens skin side down on preheated broiler – about 3 inches from flame. Broil about 40-45 minutes – basting every 5-10 minutes with the marinade.
