Lebanese Hashwa Kiwanis Ma’a Khobaz (Giblet-Bread Stuffing) Recipe

2 c Giblets – cooked
1 1/2 t Sage
1 1/2 c Water, boiling
1 1/2 t Salt
3/4 c Butter
2 T Prepared mustard
1/2 c Onion – minced
2 T Celery – diced
1/4 t Pepper, black
3 qt Breadcrumbs, dry
1 T Poultry seasoning
2 T Parsley – minced


Chop giblets. Combine boiling water, butter and onion and simmer 5 minutes.Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Place in baking tray and bake about 30 minutes in 350F oven or use to stuff cavity of 8 pound bird.
