Lebanese But Ma’a Marqeh (Duck with Wine Sauce) Recipe

Ingredients:

1 ea Duck
1 c Water
2 T Butter
1 ds Cinnamon
1 ea Onion – chopped
Salt
1 c Wine, red
Pepper, black

Methods:

Wash and clean duck cut into serving pieces. Melt butter in saucepan saute onion until soft add duck and brown on all sides. Add wine, cover and cook for 20 minutes. Ad tomato sauce diluted with 1 cup water,cinnamon, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until duck is cooked, about 30 minutes. Sauce may be thickened with a little flour if desired.
